The New York Times Features Greg Sobo as 2021’s “Power Injury Lawyer”

MIDDLETOWN, NEW YORK, March 21, 2022 — Greg Sobo, Founder and CEO of Sobo & Sobo LLP, received the “2021 Power Lawyer” award from Lawyers of Distinction for demonstrated excellence in personal injury law. The decision was made based on Mr. Sobo’s outstanding service for his clients, his reputation among peers, and his record of past accomplishments. The achievement was recognized in The New York Times February 20, 2022 issue, where he was featured alongside the few other lawyers selected.

Mr. Sobo is proud and humbled to receive this award, and to be recognized by the world-leading news publication for the hotly-contested “Power Lawyer” title. “I am honored to be recognized by such a prestigious publication” said Mr. Sobo. “It is the incredible team at Sobo & Sobo that made this award possible, as well as our beloved clients. It is my privilege to work for our clients, and with such a driven and talented team at Sobo & Sobo.”

Each year, Lawyers of Distinction awards the “Power Lawyer” status to a select few attorneys who provide the highest-quality service to clients in their state. Candidates are nominated for the award by clients and peers. Nominees are then subjected to a rigorous vetting process by the organization’s Selection Committee, which reviews each candidate’s achievements and peer recommendations. The remaining candidates then face a final review for ethical violations within the past ten years before confirmation of Membership.
