Personal injury law is “personal.” You are helping the victims of negligence, who truly need your help. It is an area of the law where you can make a difference in the lives of those you represent.
Long ago, a client bought me a plaque that said, “world’s best attorney.” I represented him about 20 years ago and he still leaves me voice mail messages thanking me.
First, understand the client’s situation. Who are they and what does their injury mean to their life? Second, be prepared. What happens in a courtroom should look easy because the work was done in preparation. Third, communicate with the client. A client’s trust is sacred. It should be earned with communication.
