Frequently Asked Questions

I grew up in northeastern New Jersey and spent most of my formative years there. From a young age, I learned the values of persistence and dedication through my time doing track and field in high school. My academic interests in school were largely in history and studying social topics, which continued into my undergraduate education. Through these studies, I learned the value of looking at topics from different viewpoints to sharpen arguments and keep a sensible, balanced perspective. These undergraduate experiences greater developed my advocacy skills that I used in my legal education and current law practice. One of my interests while in law school was in immigration law due to my fascination with global affairs. I interned for both an immigration law firm in Newark, New Jersey and the Executive Office of Immigration Review in New York, New York. I also worked as a research assistant for a Seton Hall law professor of health law and policy where I researched policy issues pertaining to social workers. During my last year of law school, I studied abroad at Louvain la Neuve University in Belgium and took classes focused on business laws in the European Union and through international agreements. Upon returning from this program, I wrote a paper in my advanced writing course analyzing a recent EU law addressing labor standards for European workers who travel between Member States.
