MIDDLETOWN, NY – September 30, 2025 – Sobo & Sobo, LLP proudly announces the promotion of Silvia A. Fermanian, Esq. to Managing Partner of the firm, as well as Lead Real Estate, Trusts and Estates Attorney. Mrs. Fermanian will serve in these roles at the firm’s Middletown, NY office, where she will continue her distinguished service to the Hudson Valley community.

Mrs. Fermanian’s practice encompasses a wide breadth of trusts and estates matters, including Wills and Estates Administration, Probate, Death Compromises, Wrongful Death Compromises, Judicial Settlements, Trusts (including Supplemental Needs Trusts), Medicaid Planning, Lien Resolution, all aspects of Medicare including Medicare Set Asides, Structured Settlements, and Guardianships. She also leads the firm’s Real Estate practice, representing clients in both residential and commercial transactions with precision and care.

After earning her Juris Doctor from New York Law School, Mrs. Fermanian was admitted to the New York State Bar, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. She is also fluent in Spanish, expanding access to trusted legal counsel for a broader segment of the community.
